Bianca Herbert
 Bianca
Herbert co-founded and co-directed Groove Society. The group
adjudicatedand performed in top festivals & concert series around the US
and Canada. Bianca's
large vocal range allows her to sing soprano & alto for the group while her
versatility to perform a large range of musical styles only
adds to the strength of Groove Society.
Like others in Groove Society,
Bianca attended the University of Northern Colorado for a Bachelor's degree in
Music with a minor in Theatre. Her best experiences have been working in some of
UNC's top vocal jazz groups with whom she was awarded various Downbeat Magazine
Awards. While at UNC, she was also an integral part of the Opera, Musical
Theatre & Theater Programs.
In addition to Groove Society,
Bianca performs with a Latin Jazz/Mariachi band using her vocal and instrumental
background in piano and violin. She was also the Entertainment Director at one of
Colorado’s most popular tourist attractions. There she managed all varieties of
performing avenues from diving, juggling, acting, puppeteering, dancing, singing
and produced several musical revue shows involving an eclectic range of music
from the 20th century including 40’s big band, classic rock and rock
& roll. Bianca was also involved in a promotional for a sister station for NBC
and has done commercial and studio work for select companies around Colorado
including the WB network and Comcast Digital cable. She currently runs a
full time private music studio teaching violin, viola, cello, piano & voice.
